Exciting Holiness : Collects and readings for festivals

Common Worship reintroduced the Anglican Church to its saints - those 232 men and women whose examples excite others to holy living and to whom a date in the calendar is designated for their remembrance each year. It had already sold more than 10,000 copies when, lacking an equivalent liturgical resource for the extra saints days’ in the Celtic calendars, the Church of Ireland, the Episcopal Church of Scotland and the Church in Wales requested an expanded version to included additional prayers and readings for many locally celebrated saints who shaped the faith in these islands.
